What do tippers need to register with Xpresstips.com?
You need a valid PayPal account and an associated email address.
What do tippers need in order to use Xpresstips.com?
As a member you need your Xpresstips ID number and the Xpresstips ID number of the person you are leaving the tip for. Check out "how it works" for step by step information. Membership is preferred, but not required to leave a tip using Xpresstips.com. As a member, the transaction will be initiated from Xpresstips, but your credit card transaction is processed seamlessly and securely through your PayPal ID.
If you are not an Xpresstips member, then you need a credit card. Members and non-members will need to know the Xpresstips ID of the person you are leaving the tip for. Check out "how it works" for step by step information.
What are the benefits of registering with Xpresstips as a tipper?
Convenience - After getting the Xpresstips ID number from a service worker, tippers can log onto Xpresstips.com at anytime to leave a tip. Plus, reports can be run to track tipping expenditures. This is really handy, when doing expense and budget reports.
Security - By not carrying cash, there’s no money to be stolen or lost. Transactions are done using PayPal, a world leader in money transfers, so credit card information is safe. Plus, you are sure your tip is received by the person who earned it, for example a maid or service worker who may not be currently on duty.

What do service workers need in order to register with Xpresstips?
Service workers need a valid PayPal account and the associated email address. Then they can register for an Xpresstips ID number. The Xpresstips registration process automatically links the Xpresstips ID number to the PayPal account.
What are the benefits of registering with Xpresstips as a service worker?
Increased income! Being able to receive tips electronically can only increase income. It does not affect receiving cash tips. In fact, it enhances cash tipping because customers see Xpresstips signs which remind them to leave a tip. Plus, summary reports help you keep track of your money.
Security - By not carrying large sums of cash, there’s no money to be stolen or lost. Transactions are done using PayPal, a world leader in money transfers. Plus, you are sure to receive your tips directly. There’s no way for someone to steal your tips if you have your own Xpresstips ID number.
How will I receive my tips?
After performing a service, hand your customer your business card with your Xpresstips ID number. At their convenience, your customer logs onto Xpresstips.com and enters your Xpresstips ID number and the amount of the tip. The transaction is processed securely through PayPal. The tip amount is transferred to the service workers PayPal account. Once PayPal clears the transaction, money can be transferred to a bank account. The money can also stay in the PayPal account to be used to purchase goods and services from any website using PayPal.

What are the benefits for business owners?
Xpresstips is a great service offering for your customers who would like to tip, but don’t carry cash. Plus, it increases the income of service employees, because they are able to recoup tips which they normally would not have received. It also increases the security of your business because there is less cash on the premises.
Since Xpresstips handles the transaction there’s no additional accounting required by business owners. An added benefit of signing up all employees is that employers can receive employee tip reports quarterly and at the end of the year for financial reporting and various filing purposes.
Increased advertising for your business. Because service employees hand your customer a business card with the employees Xpresstips ID number, it keeps your company name in front of your customer long after they leave your business. Business cards can have your company logo or the Xpresstips logo.
In order to reap these benefits your support is needed to get employees registered, and the purchase of economical marketing materials (signs, stickers, posters, business cards, etc) which let customers know about the service. A small expenditure, which reaps huge rewards!
Download the template for registering multiple service workers. It’s a simple spreadsheet. Then submit the completed spreadsheet to Xpresstips so the service worker accounts can be created. Xpresstips will notify you when the accounts have been created (usually within three business days depending on the number of accounts). After the receiving the notification, have your service employees log into to their Xpresstips accounts to confirm the registration information and activate the account.

None of your credit card or banking information is stored by Xpresstips.com. The only information we have on file is the information you provided during the registration process.
